What are the Nationwide Training Camps?
The training camps are a one or two day event that consist of on-track training, alongside workshop based activities (UCI 12+). There are many aspects to becoming a great BMX racer, some of which are performed off the bike. The workshops activities will be aided through worksheets, ensuring you will always have access to the learnings in the future.
Who can join?
The minimum age to join is UCI 8. The camps will be split into two groups; UCI 8-11, and UCI 12+.
What will be covered?
On-track training will include:
- Gate technique
- Manuals
- Jumps
- Pumping
- Corners
- Race lines
- Decision making
- Group riding
- Efforts combining these skills and learnings into a race simulation environment.
The workshop activities are interactive and are for the UCI 12+ group only. They will include:
- Race day: routines, nutrition, and lane choice.
- Bike maintenance.

UCI 8-11 Group:
Saturday: 10am – 12pm
Sunday: 9am – 11am
UCI 12+ Group:
Saturday: 1pm – 4pm
Sunday: 12pm – 3pm
